We are looking to recruit a part-time Junior Veterinary Nurse, or someone with at least one year of animal care experience in a professional capacity to join our team.

About us

Anexa Veterinary Services has 12 veterinary clinics across the Waikato and Hauraki Plains providing services to family pets, and both dairy and drystock farmers.  About the role

Our Ngaruawahia clinic is a brand new, purpose-built clinic. It is a fast-paced and rewarding place to work and provides services to both companion animal and large animal clients. There are significant opportunities to develop your Vet Nursing and Animal Care career in this clinic.

This role is a new three day a week role, which will see you supporting the Senior Nurses with inpatients in the clinic, ensuring the laundry and cleaning is up to date, unpacking the clinic orders, customer service duties, assisting the vets in their consultations, and confidently helping clients with their requests – both face to face and on the phone.

You will be someone who can always find something to do to help the team in the clinic, and has good computer skills, keen to learn, an effective communicator – verbal and written, professional, a multitasker, has the ability to handle stressful situations, and has a great team spirit.
