Data Entry Specialist/Office Clerk
Title: Data Entry Specialist Department: Legal Department
Reports to: Lead Paralegal
Function: The Data Entry Specialist provides administrative assistance to the Legal Department of this boutique multidisciplinary law firm. The Data Entry Specialist role would consist of preparing and entering new client intake information, creating case files, and generating client profiles in our information management systems with speed and accuracy.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
· Prepare and sort documents for data entry
· Review discrepancies in data received and advise lead of issues related to data
· Enter variety of data using diverse and innovative technology; private search engines, and Clio case management system
· Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
· Maintains timely and accurate timekeeping records on a daily basis
· Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills:
· Proven experience as Data Entry Specialist
· Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology systems such Clio case management
· Proficiency in English and Spanish
· Ability to multitask and being comfortable to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a remote environment
· Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour
