Software Engineer (Bowral, NSW)

Anthem is currently seeking a full-time Software Engineer to assit in developing and fine-tuning our innovative proprietary software that will revolutionise how the aged care industry provides care to its residents and management of its staff.

About the Role:

You will join a team developing a software covering different aspects of the aged care industry, this includes:

• Programming (Java).
• Liaison between the development team (technical) and the product owner (non-technical).
• Complete documentation of the project.

About You:

You will live and breathe wanting to build this software to the best it can be prior to going to market and ideally have:

• Java programming skills.
• Experience with Spring framework.
• Familiarity with Linux based OSes specifically CentOS.
• Familiarity with Angular web framework, java script and HTML.
• Familiarity with Android programming.
• Knowledge about the design and architecture of web-based applications.
• Knowledge about different aspects such as design, debugging, testing, documentation, etc. of software development process.
• Familiarity with distributed/scalable systems.
• The ability to speak and write Mandarin (compulsory skill).
• A highly motivated and problem-solving attitude that thrives in teamworking environments.
• The ability to translate non-technical language to technical language and vice versa.
• Decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s in computer science or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1 year plus experience as a developer (beneficial but not essential).
