Anthem’s Georgia Medical Health Insurance Sales Team is looking to hire an Account Executive for the Large Group Sales segment for the Georgia/ Metro Atlanta market. He/ she will be responsible for acquiring new business of mid-size accounts through brokers and/or directly to customers. He/ she will prospect accounts and produces revenue through new and renewal sales. Generates lead activity and makes sales calls. Develops strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new business.
Requires a BA/BS; 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Exhibits senior level sales competencies as defined by the business unit. Sales license required.
Qualifications
Highly preferred experience:
-Experience selling insurance for a managed care organization, an insurance brokerage, or a consulting firm.
-Experience with our product suite of medical and ancillary products such as Dental, Vision, Life and Disability, and Supplemental Health.
-Experience with our client base in the Metro Atlanta, GA area.
