Working as part of a high performing cross-functional team that focuses on implementing, maintaining and running the CPaaS (Container Platform based around Red Hat’s Openshift) platforms which includes automation (infrastructure developer), support, Audit/Compliance, Life Cycle Management, platform upgrades and accelerating the adoption of container technologies etc.
You are (or aspire to be) a specialist in Kubernetes and Openshift and have a passion for all things hybrid and cloud native. You automate all the things and apply best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure automation. You can (or aspire to) design, build and operate large scale container workloads across clouds, wherever they live.

What will your day look like
Full contact Kubernetes / Openshift administration and management
Exposure to private and hybrid cloud infrastructure environments
Opportunity to work on multiple and varied systems integration projects
Developing automation both at the Openshift (and above) layers as well as down the stack into the composible Infrastructure layers
Opportunity to be exposed to many enterprise and cloud technologies, working with a team that is as excited about technology as you are
What a typical day might look like
Kube / Openshift cluster install and deployment along with cluster management / maintenance
Managing infrastructure using config as code
Writing infrastructure management code, deploying changes as code
Platform user assistance and troubleshooting
Site Reliability improvement and validation activities (SRE type activities)
Composible Infrastructure automation and management
Production incident support, including problem resolution and root cause analysis
Infrastructure application development (The tooling we depend on to run the platforms), new feature exploration and production release of new platform features

A hunger for new skills, knowledge and experiences
Excellent communication and technical consulting skills
Great knowledge of Kubernetes (ideally openshift, but not mandatory)
A self-starter that enjoys a challenge and working in an agile environment
Someone who takes pride in their work and can work individually and as part of a team
Someone who can develop solutions with the customer in mind
RedHat Openshift Administration Certification in Ver3.9/3.11 or equivalent experience
Excellent SRE / High availability, scalable & resilience Container Solution skills
Excellent understanding of DevOps, automated configuration management and CI/CD tooling such as Helm, CodeFresh and ArgoCD.
Understanding of container and microservices deployment patterns and Kube security
Ability to approach and resolve complex Linux and Kubernetes interdependencies, especially networking – even when you don’t know it all!
Experience in Kube or OCP Admin and Cluster upgrades – With OpenShift 4 being highly advantageous
Experience in troubleshooting incidents and working customer requests.
Knowledge of Public cloud such as GCP, AWS, GKE is desirable, but not mandatory
Ability to build strong and influential stakeholder relationships
Working knowledge of experience Splunk is advantageous, as are scripting / programming experience, as is an appreciation of goat themed memes
