ANZ Banking Group Hiring for QA Automation Engineer Job at Melbourne, Australia Full Time

The squad is responsible for integrating FX platforms that support our Dealers and Traders across the globe. This includes all customer segments, Investor, Institutional and Commercial.

As an experienced QA Automation Engineer, you will focus on quality assurance automation. The role will action and execute all technical analysis (QA) assigned tasks, ensuring that high quality and effective quality assurance procedures are captured in accordance with ANZ standards.

What will your day look like

• Quality assurance planning, design and execution;
• Developing and maintaining automated tests and framework (in-house built) for java applications;
• Assisting development team members to debug and diagnosing issues found;
• Review QA error logs and seek explanation for all unexplained errors;
• Executing manual / explortarty / end-to-end testing;
• Coordinate with interfacing applications to ensure end to end testing environments are aligned and ready when required;
• Contributing to knowledge management, environment support (non-production), technical, procedural and audit documentation and coordination of continuous deliveries to production

What will you bring?

• Experience in the Foreign Exchange/Capital Markets business domain is highly desirable
• Experience testing software in an automated fashion; eg experience with Java, Java Script, JUnit, SQLs, Jira; comfortable working in Operating systems: Unix, Linux and Windows,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, efficient time management skills
• Nice to have: Kafka experience
• Familiarity with CI/ CD tools like Teamcity, Bamboo and Udeploy to build & deploy Java, Spring boot and UI applications, as needed
