Full Stack AWS DevOps Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge, 100% cloud native technologies

At ANZ Wholesale & Enterprise we are seeking a keen engineer that either has been previously or interested in moving to Full Stack AWS DevOps Engineer with expertise in Python, GitHub, Codefresh, Artifactory, containers and AWS services.

As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in :

• Designing, building, and maintaining our robust and scalable cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous delivery of our products, ensuring seamless integration, automated deployment, and efficient monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud architectures and solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, incorporating GitHub for version control, triggers and code review processes.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Codefresh pipelines and Terraform. Implementing a stack that includes AWS services such as MSK, EKS, ECR et al.
• Provide consultancy to optimize application performance and enhance application monitoring and logging.
• Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

Ōu Pūkenga? – What will you bring?

In order to be successful in this role you will have:

• Some experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python preferred but scripting language in general would be beneficial for automation and scripting tasks, application and scripting tasks.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Codefresh, for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, along with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with artifact management tools like Artifactory.
• Good knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure components.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, any ISTIO experience would be awesome.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
