Reporting to the Lead Developer, and working as part of a data engineering team within Business Governance and Control, the role will involve the development and management of a full-stack JavaScript (TypeScript) web platform used widely within ANZ.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who can work with a wide range of stakeholders to design and develop solutions for various needs, with a strong ability and willingness to learn new skills and work off their own initiative. In return, you will be able to hone your skills using a broad range of technologies, and have scope to innovate and design and deliver solutions how you see fit.
This role would suit a candidate whose primary skillset is in front-end web development, so you must have strong fundamentals, a keen eye for design, and have worked extensively with Vue.js or similar. You will also be working to build out REST API endpoints in Node.js/Express and TypeScript, query relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and write end-to-end tests using Cypress. OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Python, or any data engineering experience would also be a bonus, but can be picked up as you go.
