ANZCO Foods Hiring for Pack Room Operator Job at New Zealand Full Time

ANZCO Green Island manufacture Angel Bay meat patties for the domestic and international markets.

We have opportunities available now to join our Green Island team. The hours of this position are Monday to Friday 6.45am – 3.15pm.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Operating the packing, sealing and labelling equipment located in the pack rooms
• Completing processing checks and ensuring records are accurate as per documented production check sheets appropriate to the pack room and product type
• Ensuring defective product does not knowingly pass through the production line to be processed
• Ensuring product is packed to specification, weights, labelling and presentation of product/packaging is compliant
• Ensuring safe work practices are always followed

To be successful in this position you will have:

• An understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
• Experience in a similar position (this would be a benefit)
• A proven ability to be a team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication both oral and written
