ANZCO Foods Looking for Cold Stores Supervisor at Waitara Full Time

ANZCO Foods Waitara have an opportunity for a Cold Stores Supervisor to join the team. The purpose of this position will be to provide effective supervision within the Cold Stores department, ensuring efficient, effective, and safe processes are in place and adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all work duties are carried out in a safe manner and in line with ANZCO’s Health and Safety policy
• Ensure all processes are adhered to in respect to customer and regulatory requirements
• Develop and grow relationships with the all-stake holders within the logistics umbrella
• Maintain compliance programmes and records as required to ensure these are maintained
• Support and lead a planning function between production, site resources and approved partners to ensure compliance and food safety standards are maintained.
• Ensure MPI requirements are adhered to without exception
• Provide relevant reporting and commentary to management as requested
• Provide support for the transfer of products from off site to Cold Stores and for load out to customers
• Ensure the transfer documentation is effectively maintained
• Support the Cold Stores Logistics Manager with inventories, reconciliations and load outs
• Support the Cold Stores Logistics Manager to maintain Transitional Facility status for the Waitara Cold Stores
• Staff development through coaching and mentoring while ensuring staff training requirements are adhered to
• Ensure all shipping instructions are clearly relayed to relevant staff
• Establish and manage Logistics Quality Assurance control functions
• Ensure customer specifications regarding product temperature requirements are understood and achieved
• Update time & attendance system daily, weekly reporting to payroll
• Report & monitor repairs & maintenance of equipment & buildings
• Support the Cold Stores Logistics Manager in developing a Continuous Improvement culture

About You:

• A working knowledge of the cold chain
• 5 years relevant industry experience with staff supervision
• A working knowledge of the meat industry
• Experience in working in a compliance production environment including H&S, food safety and environmental knowledge
