What the day will look like

• Responsible for monitoring Compliance generally for all Aon managed clients. This role includes the following tasks:
  • Coordinate and guide implementation of compliance requests and requirements cascaded from Captives Global Compliance Team (GCT)
  • Coordinate the team’s completion and report for completion of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checklist updates to GCT
• Coordinate and review the team’s completion of annual assessments, for example:
  • AML risk assessments for clients
  • Risk assessments for all clients
  • Annual review on appropriateness of access to General Ledger and other systems
  • Limits of Liability Approval Peer Reviews
• Review and manage compliance monitoring request/status based on agreed frequencies, for example:
  • D&O confirmations from clients’
  • Client liquidity balance for update to GCT
  • Compliance Breach status
  • Compliance of management agreement status
  • Bridger matches clearance
  • Compliance Disclosure Questionnaire
• Review and provide guidance on regulatory announcements, including MAS, ACRA, IRAS to colleagues
• Requests including new counterparties, changes in details for existing counterparties
• Monitoring the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) results for all clients
• Monitor completion of outstanding GRC controls assessment
• Provide guidance to the captive team and manage approvals and clearance of approval conditions
• Coordinate / provide training regularly on AML, E & O and D & O to the Team
• Act as coordinator of Data Privacy related matters
• Respond to ad-hoc compliance queries

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• At least 1-2 years of legal/compliance/internal audit experience preferred
• Ability to support and manage compliance projects and work independently
• Experience within the insurance/financial services industry preferred
• Ability to work as an integral part of a local and global legal compliance team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, and take the initiative where necessary
• Conscientious and good attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills will be advantageous
• Keen interest in compliance work and willing to learn
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills
