This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more information, please see: https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/ada/r/jobs/10009722 DescriptionLocation- Chicago, IL (Remote Acceptable)Duration- Long Term, Indefinite Consultant RolePosition- APX Applications Analyst ConsultantJOB PURPOSEThe Senior Analyst will be responsible for reconciliation for accounts against the external custodian records for transaction, positions and tax lots, corporate action processing and instructions to all external custodians, processing of client data, onboarding of new accounts, and providing support of other miscellaneous operational duties.Seeking a Subject Matter Expert role in the below with regard to SS&C APXKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESMonthly and/or daily reconciliation of account positions against to custodians.Daily transaction reconciliation to the custodians.Reconcile tax lots to the custodians.Research and resolve all reconciliation discrepanciesUpdating of reconciled accounts in Bank Recon SystemProcessing Corporate ActionsInstructing custodians on Voluntary Corporate Actions.Onboarding of new account positions.Processing of client transaction data.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS5 – 7 years of Investment OperationsAdvent APX or Axys experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.Computer literacy skills are required.Expanded knowledge of investments, security analysis and industry related expertise.This position requires strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; exceptional analytical and organizational skills, an attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude.Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to effectively multi-task.*Qualified Applicants please reply to: [email protected]*EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
