Responsibilities

Receiving

Receive all incoming deliveries

Verify extrusion types and quantities against the packing list

Beside each line item on the packing list, note the quantity in each bundle separately

Complete the inventory tag and affix to each bundle

Bundles that contain two or more extrusion types, must be tagged separately

Organize and store tagged inventory using overhead crane

Forward all original packing lists to manager

Extrusion Relocation Orders

Pick and prepare extrusion orders for shipment to Van Kirk plant

Complete extrusion relocation form

Inventory

Recycle tags – Clean and reuse inventory cards

Inspect bundles in inventory and replace any missing/damaged tags

Periodic inventory cycle counts and reconciliation

Responsibilities also include special projects as assigned.
