Appliedx team is looking for a motivated Instructional Designer who brings a combination of technical knowledge, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills. Appliedx teams mission is to digitize, curate, and deliver learning experiences that enable upskilling to generate business impact. The Instructional Designer will work with subject matter experts to create core engineering & technology courses, design engaging learning experiences and meaningful assessments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with subject matter experts to design and develop content on semiconductor technology and product development topics, with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired learning outcomes

• Serve as project manager on course development by managing and clearly communicating scope, deliverables, timeline, and risk mitigation. Able to adjust to changes in priorities or scope of projects as needed.

• Maintain and refresh existing engineering and technology courses to ensure content is up to date and meeting learners need

• Collaborate with other Instructional Designers and team members to improve course development process and course effectiveness

• Keep up to date with current trends in learning and development, and educational technology to leverage best practices and new techniques

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (preferably in engineering or a technical field)

• Experience in designing and developing technical training curriculum

• Open collaborative style, ability to work both in a team environment and independently

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both written and verbal formats

• Ability to take initiatives and seek productive step forward when faced with challenges

• Has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially with problem solving

• A desire for continued learning and growth

• Proficiency with MS Office products

• Experience with design tools used in a learning creation environment (for example, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Techsmith Camtasia)

• Able to provide an eLearning portfolio or demonstrate ability to create high-quality eLearning products
