A non-profit organization client is looking for a Data Entry Clerk
Location: Washington, DC
Position: Data Entry Clerk
Pay Rate: $25.17
Duration: 18 months
Hrs/Wk: 40.00

Position Summary:
- This person is responsible for providing employee support and maintaining data for multiple business processes implemented within PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management). This position processes multiple transactions, including employee self-service and “Resource Management” – a collection of custom workflows used to create and maintain non-employee data in PeopleSoft.
Essential Job Requirements
- Serves as primary contact for assigned HR Self Service transactions
- Follows up with managers and employees regarding documentation for employee records
- Works with the HR Technology team to ensure the integrity of information stored in PeopleSoft
- Assists in issue resolution and participates in system testing
- Processes Allocation, Maintenance, and Termination transactions for non-employees
- Supports recruiters, HR partners, and managers with questions about employee/contingent labor
Job Requirements
- Two (2) years of Human Resources Information Systems experience; PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak and convey information clearly and accurately
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and learn quickly
- Experience managing sensitive HR data
Software Skills
- 1-2 years’ experience in MS Excel Advanced
- 1-2 years’ experience in MS Word Intermediate
At a minimum, a 7-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.
