Job Description: Investment Analyst

The role
Working directly with the Investment Partners, you will be a self-starter undertaking the development and evaluation of financial models and other content for client projects. This will involve the development of financial projections, information memorandums and client presentations, in addition to supporting the partners on any due diligence requirements and undertaking outreach to prospect distribution lists. Face-paced, challenging intellectually and rewarding – this position will provide direct involvement in investment banking deals and exposure to the senior partners.
Key deliverables
● Assist in the preparation of investment plans for client deals.
● Build spreadsheet models for company financial analysis and revenue projections.
● Create information presentations and investor packs, including coordination of deal room materials.
● Undertake company and industry sector research, sourcing key information and statistics for client planning purposes and building prospect lists.
● Assist with due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation and transaction processes.
● Attend client meetings and support client relationships.
About you?
You will be a capable financial analyst, ideally with 2 to 4 years’ experience, with key strengths in financial modeling and a demonstrated analytical aptitude. You operate with a constructive approach and can foster good internal and external relationships at all levels.
● Relevant and strong tertiary academic record.
● Willingness to undertake further training.
● A proactive planner who can maintain direction and focus.
● Sound commercial judgment and perspective.
● Very observant with a sharp attention to detail.
● Ability to be flexible and resilient.
● Excellent communication skills.
