A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a reputable New Zealand Not for Profit organisation. They are looking for someone with Payroll experience to join their team on a FTC, while covering someone for maternity leave. Full training is provided!
About The Role
The purpose of this role is to support the HR and Payroll team as a staff member is going on maternity leave. You will be responsible for facilitating the quality management of contracts and HR/Payroll. You will collate the fortnightly timesheets and assist with the processing of the pay-run for over 500 employees. Other tasks in this role include:
- Processing the Payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the Regional Leadership with recruitment of new staff.
- Writing and maintaining HR documents and personnel files.
- Provide advice and support to the regional management team on best practice.
- Undertake other Ad-Hoc duties as required.

Beyond This, The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills
To be suitable for this role you will be a strong people person with an interest in HR and Payroll. You will have a high attention to detail and will have knowledge of payroll functions, processes, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
- Excellent numerical skills, with high accuracy.
- An understanding of HR and Payroll functions.
- The ability to relate to a diverse range of people.
- Competent with MS Products.
