We are in the animal health business, partnering with our clients in the areas of Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing to produce pharmaceuticals for both farm and companion animals. About The Role
As the world continues to change, so too does Argenta and so a new opportunity has been created in the Operations space. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the brand-new role of Continuous Improvement Lead will pave the way for the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles (or similar) at the NZ site.
This role is responsible for leading and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site with particular focus in Manufacturing Operations. These projects will need to be sustainable, find operational efficiencies and improve quality Right-First-Time metrics for our customers, and the financial position of the business.
As an expert in LSS tools, methodologies, and techniques, you will also form strong cross functional ties through training and coaching of teams to ensure the successful delivery of these projects.
About You
We are therefore looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and not be afraid to get your hands dirty on the shop floor. You’ll also need to be highly collaborative, credible, with an ability to engage and influence at all levels internally. As a leader of a new area, you will be able to start things from scratch, be able to work autonomously and have strong commercial skills.
Your CI Tool Kit Will Include
- Tertiary qualification in Science or Business and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of Lean Six Sigma tools in a manufacturing environment
- Experience as a project leader with multidisciplinary teams, with advanced communication skills both verbal and written
