The ideal candidate has 5yearsof experience in the procurement of government contractsin a construction setting, as well as aBachelor’s Degreefrom an accredited college or university with a major in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

This is a full-time, on-site position inNew York, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and issue competitive solicitations for construction, consultant services, and goods and services
• Track productivity and technical execution of assigned procurement staff
• Assign and reassign staff to meet company and project needs
• Work together with procurement team,suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure the efficient and sustainable implementation of project management procedures across large-scale civil construction projects
• Coordinate and facilitate the procurement process; collaborating with clients, project management, and other departments as needed
• Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and define procurement requirements and specifications
• Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion
• Other related duties and tasks as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related required, advanced degree is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in the procurement of government contractsin a construction setting
• Experience with federal (FTA and FRA) and state procurement regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
• Prior experience with rail, tunnel, structural, station, or soil constructionis preferred
• Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
