Arrow Electronics is currently seeking a Senior Services Executive to work in our SiliconExpert subsidiary.
Regulatory product compliance is a critical business function and a rapidly expanding sector in the high technology industry. The role allows for clients all over the world to have access to global markets by leveraging product and process legislation. Regulatory complexity is increasing and continuously evolving with many local, national, and international codes, standards, and regulations.
As a Senior Services Executive, reporting to the Director of Value Engineering, it will be your responsibility to serve as the environmental compliance expert and thought leader for SiliconExpert’s professional services organization. You’ll have a strong technical background in electronics and semi-conductor environmental compliance while also knowing how to lead consulting and services projects with our clients and articulating the value SiliconExpert software solutions. You’ll identify and solve problems whilst supporting and collaborating with product management team to create environmental compliance solutions in-line with company goals and objectives. You will wear many hats from being an strategic advisor to clients on compliance related topics to driving the Go-To-Market for new compliance and supply chain products.
The successful candidate should be able to work well across engineering teams to launch products that delight customers!
ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE
Has deep domain knowledge on compliance issues, primarily with directives such as RoHS, REACH, SCIP, CA Prop 65, CMRT (Dodd-Frank) including developing training materials and conducting training classes along with resolving related compliance issues. Able to provide training and assistance about each of these directives.
Maintain current understanding of all regulatory requirements and current industry standards for material compliance activities within the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe for electronic products that are imported and purchased domestically.
Develop, implement and manage the company’s material compliance program to include writing procedures.
Lead environmental meetings with divisions, corporate group representatives; prepare regular reports and maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with regulations and laws.
Serve as an environmental resource to all divisions; provides consultation, guidance and technical assistance related to matters of material compliance.
Help develop and provide onsite training and counseling on material compliance topics.
Works with sales, presales, and product management teams in identifying opportunities and help customer understand ROI.
What you’ll be doing:
Engage with customers to identify their compliance related pain points and craft solutions based on SiliconExpert’s products and services capabilities
Define and execute a success plan for each customer engagement.
Work with product management to define and evangelize key use cases which drive product adoption and understanding, in addition to product evolution to meet the needs of component engineers and supply chain professionals.
Assist in developing core positioning, and value propositions benefit messages for SiliconExpert offerings. Contribute to marketing material for clients, partners and field sales organizations are available to best articulate value and return on investment for clients.
Subject matter expert and spokesperson to internal audiences such as sales, pre-sales and product management teams and external audiences such as customers. This includes defining solutions for customers, harvesting IP from current customer engagements and creating repeatable service offerings for customer success .
Collect, document, prioritize and manage enhancement requests from internal and external sources
Develop use case documentation as per project needs and collaborate with product management on solution definition based on voice of customer
Contribute to user focus groups and guide sessions based on domain expertise
What we are looking for:
Deep industry knowledge about electronic component environmental compliance
12+ years of experience working with software products and/or programs, particularly in requirements definition, documentation and product or project management.
Strong ability to engage with customers and authoring use cases for software implementation
Ability to understand and communicate technical details regarding web application development and deployment
Background in high-tech or a related field, with an understanding of industry principles
Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
Highly professional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Outstanding troubleshooting capability for ferreting out issues and driving resolution
Proven ability to take the lead in assigned responsibilities with light supervision
Experience collaborating cross-functionally and negotiating prioritizations
Comfortable working within a small, dynamic company environment
A passion for working in cross cultural environments to enable customer success
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Effectively promote transformation of norms and positive relationships in line with organizational goals
Conflict resolution and team formation skills
Demonstrated self-management and personal accountability
An ability to tell an exceptional story through the lens of a user or stakeholder through your design choices and one that encourages empathy.
Successful experience working in a compliance and/or supply chain organization in industry and sharing your “best practices” with SiliconExpert’s customer base and prospects
Experience partnering with product management teams to assist with domain expertise needed to bring a relevant product to market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Educations/Experience Requirements:
12+ years’ relevant experience in a compliance and/or supply chain organization of a Fortune 1000 company
5+ years’ as a compliance expert, demonstrating wide range of compliance functions globally
Experience working with virtual and cross-cultural teams in multiple time zones
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4 year degree;

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$117,900.00 – $247,500.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
