Dishwasher/Food Service Worker ARRMC

Position Details: This is a full time position with variable hours/days.

The typical starting range is $16.00 – $19.95 (or higher) based on qualifications and years of relevant experience.

As a Food Service Worker, you also make extra money per hour when working swing, night, and weekend hours!

• $1.90 extra per hour between 11:00pm and 7:00am
• 
  $1.04 extra per hour between 3:00pm and 11:00pm
• 
  $.88 extra per hour for weekend shifts

Position Summary

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of duties related to food production and working in a food service area. Duties may include stocking food supplies; temperature monitoring; maintaining food quality and assuring that food being served looks appetizing and appealing; and maintaining the dishwashing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and safe condition. Food Service Workers may also work in the cafeteria operating the cash register.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma, preferred

Experience

• Some food service experience, preferably in a restaurant or institution, or other related experience is required
• Some knowledge of the care and use of institutional equipment and utensils required

Licensure/Certifications

• Oregon Food Handler Card issued by an agency approved by Oregon Department of Health or a valid food manager training certificate is required
