ASB’s One Giant Leap transformation journey has begun. This newly created position will help us leap into the future and will take ASB’s Strategic Identity workstream ‘One Step Ahead’.
About the role
In this new role you’ll be the product owner responsible for transforming how ASB’s customers are identified and authenticated in our Digital channels through the implementation of Ping Identity. It will be a gamer changer for ASB customers as Ping takes the customer experience for Identity & Access Management to a new level for activities such as logging in, switching between apps, resetting your password, and doing multi-factor authentication.
You will be responsible for planning the roadmap of work, and ensuring the design and deliver of best practice, and effective work is maintained. Managing vendor and internal relationships and resolving roadblocks will be vital to the success of this role. Strong leadership, skillful communication and negotiation skills will set you up well as you manage competing prioritises and settle on in-demand activities. This project will see you partner closely with ASB Digital as there will be many interdependencies along the way.
What you will bring
The 10XtheTX Strategic Identity workstream team is currently in build phase so it’s important those joining will demonstrate ASB’s integrity, passion, courage, caring and united values. Demonstrating these values will motivate and build the team, spot challenges, and help you unpick roadblocks. You will have a passion for the future of identity, access management and security and if you have past experience with Ping Identity, that would be great, but it’s not essential as you’ll be able to learn about the product from the vendor. Security, cyber, fraud experience would definitely be helpful, as well as cloud knowledge. A digital product background would also set you up well. Leading a hybrid team with an implementation partner is a requirement.
This is an interesting and chunky role that requires someone with passion, energy and resilience.
