• Schedule: Nights, 7:00PM – 7:30AM, 12 hour shifts and the nights of the week vary. Schedule is posted 6 weeks in advance and there is a strict attendance policy.

Responsibilities

As a Patient Monitor, you will provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients. Other responsibilities include:

• Monitor patients by use of video monitors.

• Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.

• Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.

• Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
