PCT Patient Care Technician / Cardiology Unit / Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus

Full-time Night Position / 7 pm – 7 am / Every other weekend and rotating holidays

What You Will Do

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.

• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.

• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.

• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry. Any issuing authority accepted preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
