What You Will Do

Ascension St. Vincent’s is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible plastic surgeon for our practice in Carmel.

• Current providers: Drs. Riesa Burnett, Robert Paul, and Ian Sando

• Providers are employed by Ascension Medical Group (AMG)

• The practice covers a wide breadth of plastic surgery from complex reconstruction to aesthetic surgery.

• Hand surgery is predominantly covered by the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center.

• The Majority of patients are adults, although there are occasional pediatric referrals.

• There are three clinic locations where providers see patients, which are conveniently located at the various Ascension hospitals.

• Each provider works with a dedicated nurse who assists them both in the office and in surgery.

Providers perform surgery primarily out of three locations:

• Ascension St. Vincent Carmel

• Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis (includes Women’s hospital)

• Ascension St. Vincent Fishers

There are no academic or committee requirements but participation in hospital leadership, teaching, research, etc. is welcome

Compensation is based on an incentivized RVU model that is the same for each plastic surgery provider.

Call:

• Providers rotate on a weekly basis covering practice call and take plastic surgery consults from the hospital.

• Face trauma call is optional and providers earn additional compensation for each night on call (avg: 4-5 nights/month)

• Hand call is covered by Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center

Benefits, 403 B and CME are available through AMG

Licensure/Certification/Registration:Required Credential(s):• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Preferred Credential(s):• Advanced Life Support.

Education:• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
