Ascertain Looking for Software Engineer (Full-Stack) at New York, NY Full Time

Our AI-driven platform targets critical areas like revenue cycle management, pharmacy operations, and care transitions, supporting healthcare professionals by streamlining critical processes such as prior authorizations, claims processing, discharge planning, and more.

This position will be based out of our office in New York City on a hybrid basis.

About the Job

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Ascertain, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and deploying our AI-driven applications. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers’ needs and transform healthcare administration.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop scalable back-end services using Python and FastAPI, utilizing a variety of data storage solutions.
• Build intuitive front-end applications using TypeScript
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Support infrastructure management using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality code standards.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
• Contribute to improving software development processes and best practices.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), full-text search engines (Elasticsearch), and caching systems (Redis).
• Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Docker.

Salary Range:

• $180,000 – $220,000 base salary, depending on previous experience and alignment with role expectations.
