What The Job Involves

As a Building Official you will work in our team of 15 processing a range of consents – from new dairy sheds to residential to commercial premises. You will be mainly based in the office analysing plans with the opportunity of working alongside construction teams’ onsite. With over 700 consents processed annually, we offer a challenging and varied role that surpasses many other organisations.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll be an experienced tradesperson with a sound knowledge of the Building Code and Building Act. Alternatively, you might have a background in building control, architectural draughting or related construction discipline. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator with a strong customer focus who finds solutions and embrace technology.
