MERCHANDISING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Ashworth Golf is a 40-year-old premium golf brand that is being re-established in the United States and Canada.

With its main office in La Quinta, California, Ashworth Golf is in the heart of a strong golf community and is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the Merchandising and Production department. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be accurate in their work, and be adaptable. This position can provide a career path into the apparel industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILIITES

• Provide support through administrative tasks such as management of files, tracking samples, making sure all information is accurate at all times.
• Extensive work in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, performing data entry, and interpreting spreadsheet data.
• Develop strong, collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams and other business partners globally.
• Organizational duties such as filing, hanging garment samples, reviewing sample submits, and related tasks as needed by the Production team.
• Responsible for the receiving and shipping of samples to and from overseas business partners.
• Other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• An analytical mind with strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Windows environment, especially Excel formulas and functions.
• Quick learner with an ability to grasp new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, understands the importance of accuracy and thorough completion of tasks.
• Demonstrated positive attitude, team-oriented, cooperative, and collaborative.
• Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced work environment.
• High level of sustained focus.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
