Associated Staffing Incorporated Hiring for Sheeter Assistant at Hastings, NE Full Time

Summary of the Sheeter Assistant position:

• Day shift: 6 AM – 6 PM, rotating schedule, every other weekend off
• Pay is $18/hour

Responsibilities of the Sheeter Assistant:

• Operate sheeter machines to cut rolls into sheets of specified size and standard quality.
• Keep accurate production records and accurately use different measuring devices and micrometers.
• Use specification sheets to determine what roll size to use and what the cut-off size should be.
• Adjust the roll holder to fit the size of the new roll.
• Adjust the PIV speed of the sheeter machine to cut the size of sheets needed.
• Operate sheeting machines at the most efficient production speed.
• Continuously inspect the product detecting any quality deficiencies.
• Cut sheets in the proper storage area.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work area around it.

Qualifications & Requirements for the Sheeter Assistant position:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to understand and follow computer instructions to print reports after the completion of every job.
• Must be capable of keeping accurate records including the completion of all forms.
• Must be able to accurately use different measuring devises and other applicable gauges.
