Aston Carter Hiring for Data Analyst at Des Moines, Iowa Full Time

Description:

There are four available paths for each candidate. The hiring manager will determine where they are placed upon offer acceptance:

1. Exploratory analytics – deep dives into data sources, analytics strategy – wants previous wells experience

2. Remediation analytics – develop strategy for population or impacts around remediation’s

3. Inline quality – parallel testing of remediation analytics/ strategy (parallel to remediation team)

4. Transactional testing – responsible for developing audit ready transactional verification data – testing transactions in data – pulling small snippets of code to test data to see what they pull back to confirm accuracy of data

Exploratory Analytics Team – Deep dive into data sources – diving into an analytics strategy. Can make sense of multiple lines of business and putting pieces together.

In line quality team – new team – parallel testing for high priority remediation.

Transactional Testing Team – New Team – audit ready transactional data. Dive into data source. Use a small snippet of code and understand the data source.

2 Consumer lending (mort., auto, personal line) & non lending (credit card, deposit products, wealth mgmt, treasury) Remediation teams.

Looking for reporting, analytics, data modeling – anyone in that space.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• SQL or SAS experience – coding (either SAS or SQL)

• Detailed Data Analysis/ Data Strategy – ability to look at data you have never seen before to draw conclusions/ question what you are seeing
