Position Overview
This position is responsible for evaluating, processing and resolving customer claims (deductions) utilizing various data files and systems.
Essential Functions
Identify, research, and resolve debit issues
Data entry of returns and credit memos
Maintain, analyze and reconcile debits past due to include 30, 60, 90 and 120 days
Create and maintain reports to uncover and track claims issues
Interface with various departments such as outside salesforce, traffic, warehouse personnel, accounts receivable, and customers for resolution of claims
Escalates unresolved issues to supervisor/Manager
Participate in training new personnel as well as cross training existing personnel
Experience
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general office practices skills or Bachelor’s Degree in Business field
· Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
· General understanding of claims (deductions) and collections
· Must have good analytical and organizational skills
