Aston Carter is hiring for a Customer Service, Sales & Booking Roles with a travel company. This position is WILL BE REMOTE AFTER AN ONSITE INTERVIEW!!!
Job Descriptions:
Vacation Planner, Inbound Sales x4
-Taking inbound calls from direct customers to educate, consult, and help schedule travel
-Selling travel packages and product up-sells
-Answering primarily customer inquiries by maintaining knowledge of key differences, mail campaigns, product knowledge, and destination expertise
Vacation Planner, Service Team x8
-Responsible for finalizing all reservation details to ensure customers have a good travel experience
-Main responsibility is servicing accounts from initial contact to travel
-Consists of inbound and outbound service calls and emails
-Main goal is customer satisfaction, as well as handling product up-sells
Vacation Planner, Outbound Sales x3
-Following up with customer leads and placing outbound calls to generate sales
-The goal is to convert outbound telephone calls and email correspondence into sales by figuring out the customer’s travel needs
-Implementing calls/emails to consumers responding to marketing initiatives on websites or brochure orders
Reservations Specialist x15
-Managing inbound calls from Travel Agent partners
-Will handle calls, chats, and emails using their sales techniques
-Assisting Agents will booking travel for end customer through motor coach companies, river cruising, and independent travel
Group Travel Specialist x15
-Responsible for increasing Travel Agent and consumer sales
-Responsible for the sales, service, relationship development, coordination, growth and responsible for identifying and targeting new distribution channel opportunities

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
-HS Diploma or GED
-Minimum of 3 months in a sales or service capacity within a call center environment
-Someone with a level of confidence (they could be working with a seasoned Travel Agent and if they don’t have confidence they could be hung up on)
-Longevity in jobs (i.e. looks for candidates with 2+ years in their jobs)
-Ability to build customer relationships
-Ability to use computer applications (i.e. in house reservation system, Outlook, Excel, Team, SharePoint, and scheduling tools)
-Ability to work in a remote call center environment (i.e. structure, shifts, performance measurements, etc.)
-A quiet space at home to work
-Technically savvy (i.e. need to understand how to toggle screens, open documents, type and talk at the same time, etc.)
NICE TO HAVE:
-Previous experience as a Reservations Agents or working in the travel industry (or general interest in travel)
-Someone with basic geography skills (helps when booking a trip)
These positions ask for availability as follows:
Mon-Fri: 6 AM and 5 PM PST
Saturday (2x/month): 6 AM and 3:30 PM PST
