A large logistics company in the NW is hiring a Logistics Data Administrator.
Job Description:
The Logistics Data Administrator will work with other departments across the organization providing internal system support and data analysis, assist to identify system issues and training gaps, and performing the key functions outlined below. This role is the gate keeper of the data integrity in the system and data governance rules. The work is fast paced with multiple, changing priorities on a daily basis. The Data Administrator must possess strong communication and organizational skills for successfully supporting all teams to complete day to day and long-term job functions timely and accurately, while meeting business and regulatory timelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Provides high touch, superior customer service both internal and external.
• Acts as the gate keeper of data governance rules for the internal system.
• Acts as the gate keeper of data integrity in the internal system.
• Assists in ensuring all customs and regulatory compliance reporting requirements are met.
• Acts as a focal point across the entire organization to ensure internal system data integrity and data governance rules are followed.
• Collaborates with the Business Application Manager and IT, to coordinate with segment marketing, pricing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure the system supports customer specific strategies and objectives.
• Assists the Business Application Manager as a point of contact for pricing, logistics and customer service in resolving data issues or updating data governance rules to support business workflows and initiatives.
• Assists the Business Application Manager and IT staff with system testing, enhancements, process efficiencies and reduction of manual work arounds.
• Performs daily CSR documentation activities and assist with short term coverage as needed.
• Provides assistance and support to the Pricing team as needed.
• Serves as the primary point of contact and member of the Truck Safety Team.
• Communicates with truck carriers by email or phone to initiate carrier interchanges and ensure proper insurance coverage.
• Assists with developing training materials and documented processes for the internal system.

The Data Administrator will work closely with all employees and other members of the leadership team and will require demonstration of strong communication skills. The incumbent must be respectful of individuals of different cultural differences and personalities. This position may also interact with general public, client officials, government officials, and contractors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of business experience in the Transportation and Logistics Industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of business experience in Customer Service.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Excellent customer relations and building relationship skills with both internal and external parties.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, in written and oral form both domestic and internationally.
• Interpersonal skills required to work within an international business environment.
• Skill in being flexible and able to handle changing priorities over multiple priorities, tasks, and situations, performing well in difficult situations or upset conditions.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills with ability to balance multiple tasks successfully.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, able to analyze conditions and provide alternative options to meet customer satisfaction and align with business objectives.
• Ability to flourish in a dynamic work atmosphere.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able sit or stand for prolonged periods at a desk. The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects.
