Description:

OpenText provides managed services for managing and governing data across different applications and systems. Leveraging the OpenText Trading Grid cloud platform, managed services provide end-to-end solution delivery including any required system integrations to improve data quality and ensure timely and secure access to consolidated, clean and accurate enterprise data.

OpenText is looking for a candidate with strong SAP master data background and data analysis skills to be part of a diverse team with a focus on projects relating to data governance, master data architecture and management.

Managing the availability, usability, integrity and security of the data in enterprise systems, based on internal data standards and policies that also control data usage. Effective data governance ensures that data is consistent and trustworthy and doesn’t get misused.

 Build, test, and maintain Quality data in SAP ERP – Review, approve, create and maintain materials, vendor and customer master data in SAP for global use in the common instance.

 Hold the business accountable to data governance standards and facilitating solutions when conflicts are identified.

 Author, review, revise SOPs related to SAP Data management

 Strong analytical and continuous improvement/PPI skills to ensure that we drive root cause resolution.

 Identify and implement process improvement opportunities related to maintenance data or activities

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Deep understanding the SAP ERP master data ecosystem, including the fields, tables, and types of transactions which use the master data.

Advanced Excel skills to perform data manipulations and analysis.

Knowledge and experience with master data tools such as SAP MDG, Data Services, Information Steward;

Assisting with designing business processes to be aligned to the master data

Creating or contributing to SOPs for the operational team.

Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.

100% remote – director sits in Richmond Hill, ON – must work EST hours – 9-5
