Astra Radiology Looking for Medical Receptionist at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Astra Radiology is a specialised radiology clinic offering a range of imaging modalities at our nine Auckland based sites. Astra Radiology is part of the Integral Diagnostics Group (IDX), one of the largest private radiology providers in Australia and New Zealand and provides comprehensive Radiology and Tele-radiology services to private medical facilities and public hospitals.

About The Roles ‍♀️

We have two exciting opportunities for Full-Time Medical Receptionists with excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills to join our team who cover all Astra Auckland sites. You will be highly motivated with a strong focus on patient care, and the ability to work well in a team environment

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Assisting health professionals to conduct procedures including patient consents
• Preparing patients for scans, positioning and assisting patients
• Preparing rooms for scans
• Maintaining high level of health standards in the department
• Liaising with health professionals to co-ordinate the arrival of patients for their bookings

About You ✨

• Healthcare experience is beneficial
• Ability to promote and maintain high standards of patient care
• High level of personal and interpersonal communication
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Commitment to continuing professional development

The role would suit a patient focused candidate with a genuine interest in the Medical Imaging industry that would enjoy the exposure to radiology. Competitive rates based on experience and skills.
