As part of the Marketing Innovation & Digital Excellence Team, the Marketing Operations Intern will assist the Digital Excellence Managers with day-to-day marketing operations work that is essential to the execution of projects and adhering to our regulatory processes. This consists of many administrative duties including digital and non-digital channels.
Responsibilities:
Working with Digital Excellence Managers (DEM), Production Managers and Global Commercial Operations to test and publish representative Veeva emails and Media assets to testing and production environments
Conduct compliance check-ins with Marketers to monitor, flag and action asset expiries in PromoMats. This may include starting the reapproval process and liaising/updating with the agencies or record as required
Assist Product Managers as required in requirements gathering process
Create a central resource with standards and documentation (corporate, brand guidelines and ways of working for digital and traditional assets), intended to help support external agency partners & streamline efficiencies
Support user acceptance testing, Canadian process documentation and ad hoc requests.
Responsible for adding new users, and updating system when users no longer need access
Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a University Degree or Higher in relevant field (Business, Advertising)
Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Strong relationship building skills to manage the needs and priorities of multiple internal/external stakeholders
Good business relationship management skills – leading and working with cross functional teams & stakeholders without positional authority while building trust and evoke influence
Strive for innovation and creativity and ability to foster innovation
Ability to support the development, design and deployment of processes and principles
Demonstrates strong integrity, dependability, and teamwork
Energetic, takes initiative and strong interpersonal skills
Interest in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
Available to work from January 2022 to December 2022

What to Expect:
This role is a 12-month paid contract position, which starts in January 2022 and will end in December 2022. Our position will be based in our Mississauga head office and allow for flexible working arrangements working both onsite (2-3 times per week) and virtually.
