AsureQuality Looking for Food Sample Production Assistant at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

The opportunity:
Great opportunity for you to apply your food preparation or kitchen hand experience in our Food Testing Laboratory. You will be in a department of 65 people, based in Blockhouse Bay.
You will contribute support in the process line to unpack, prepare and deliver or store food samples.

Tasks include:

• Unpack & check the condition of food samples when they arrive
• Record arrival and temperature of food samples
• Store, prepare & deliver food samples to other departments in our large building for testing
• Clean up after preparation of food samples
• Assist with some customer email enquiries

Set Afternoon Roster Options:

• 12pm – 8:30pm, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

• 12:30pm – 9:00pm, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

• 12pm – 8:30pm, Tuesday – Friday & 8:30am – 5pm Saturday (40 hours per week)

Requirements:

• Prior work experience in a kitchen hand or food preparation role
• Willingness to learn
• Friendly person with a can-do attitude
• Good team player
• Reliable & committed to showing up to work
