Full Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
• Adheres to state payroll requirements for WA, ID, OR & NV
• Ensures payroll for the company is processed timely and accurately on a weekly basis. (1500 employees avg)
• Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes for general employee profile set up and maintenance to include in pay frequency, minimum wage earnings, state/local coding, insurance deductions taxability & court-ordered deductions.
• Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records
• Resolve employee complaints or answer employee questions regarding policies and procedures as they pertain to the payroll department.
• Will be utilizing DataTech, TimePortal, PickTrace and TimeForce software for payroll processing
• Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
• Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.

Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions

Required Skills/Qualifications:

· 2-5 years of payroll or finance experience

· Performing weekly payroll of 500+ employees

• Advanced typing/10 key/computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Prioritizes and manages time effectively
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail/accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bilingual

· Multi-state payroll experience

Logistics:

• Pay Range: $20.00 hourly to $23.00 hourly ($41,600 Annually to $47,840)
