This Leader Will Enhance The Practice Culture By:

Exceptional Patient Care

• Greeting patients and visitors as they enter the office and notifies the appropriate person of the individual’s arrival.

• Following hand-off protocols as trained.

• Collecting co-pays and reminding patients of past due balances on the day of office visit.

• Documents and notifies the Doctor when a patient cancels an appointment.

• Acts as liaison with third-party vendors for patient medical order requests, calling appropriate laboratories, and calling pharmacies to fill prescription orders.

Attentive Patient Support

• Acting as patient liaison for insurance needs and questions providing careful guidance and information.

• Ensuring all patients receive a friendly and efficient check-out experience.

• Accurately totaling patient payment log and managing software tools involved in the process.

• Confirming patient future appointments and confirming with the patient verbally before they leave the office.

Team-Driven Administrative Support

• Active and eager participant in daily huddles.

• Actively participating in knowledge sharing and system training with front desk personnel.

• Development and management of systems that ensure continuity and quality of patient care as directed.

• Leading by example in telephone call quality and patient-focused care. This is measured by:

• Maintaining a minimum 4 star rating through phone skill training tools provided.

• Transfering calls to the appropriate person and transcribing messages.

• Generating correspondence, email, and office memos.

• Accurately transcribing patient chart information from visits for insurance and billing reports.

• Assembles and processes incoming and outgoing mail to include receiving and distributing mail..

• Efficiently operating standard office equipment to include but not limited to; telephone, voicemail, computers, printers, copier, scanner, etc.

• Maintaining digital and physical files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, performing backups, and submitting files for purging approval, and creating new filing systems as needed.

• Maintaining a petty cash fund with the proper documentation, makes changes as needed, and balances on a regular basis.

• Preparing and providing the team with Doctor’s patient files

Professional Character and Development

• Pursuing continual education through presented opportunities within the practice.

• Demonstrating eager and active participation in team events.

• Showing careful attention to policies, procedures, and leadership philosophies of the practice as outlined in the practice handbook.

• Demonstrating the ability to maintain professional decorum with staff and patients.

Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
