Overlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-Time Materials Rep. Required hours vary, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions of Position:
- Primary team member in the department for all ordering, inventory, and rotating responsibilities.
- Responsible for all ordering needs for the Retail, Patient Services, Catering, Nourishment, and Emergency preparedness stock operations.
- Responsible for the recording, updating, and producing any order guides and par stock guidelines as needed.
- Key steak holder for the all-product rotation using FIFO guidelines.
- Responsible for receiving all products ordered, ensuring accuracy of supplier invoices, navigate supplier and organization web sites for ordering all products based on cycle menus for patients and retail customers, catering, and floor stock needs.
- Inspect all stored products to ensure quality and responsible for team member training in proper storage, food handling.
- Responsible for all other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
- High School Diploma required.
- Culinary Degree Preferred.
- ServSafe Food Handlers Certification required.
Minimum Experience Required:

To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Prior Employment in receiving and storing food in a food service environment.
- Work in High/Low temperature environments for extended periods of time.
- Climb and descend ladders safely.
- Working knowledge of computer programs, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong positive interpersonal skills to communicate professionally and effectively with sales people, food brokers, co-workers, customers, management and administration.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lb. boxes.
