GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlas Aegis LLC is currently accepting applications for the role of Security Manager at one of ourNashville-based corporate headquarters. The successful candidate has 3 to 5 years of increasingly difficult work experience within the field of security. The successful candidate will manage a group of security officers to include scheduling shifts, ensuring overtime is kept to a minimum, authorizing overtime, ensuring proper reporting is conducted when appropriate, submitting administrative pay data, and providing overall security leadership at the facility. The successful candidate will also perform the duties of the subordinate officers on day shift m-f 0700 thru 1500 daily. They will greet and properly direct visitors, identify and report incidents, and be responsible for our client’s personnel and property security and safety. They will periodically tour the assigned facility to identify irregularities, observe protection and fire control equipment, uphold order, and enforce security regulations for the facility regarding the premises, personnel, and visitors.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises. 
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards. 
• Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
• Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, and traffic control.
• Adhere to the Post orders manual and other site-specific regulations for the assignment. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Arrive for work on time and with the proper equipment. 
• Appearance must be neat and clean.
• Always have a courteous and helpful demeanor. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge

• High school diploma/GED required.

Experience

• 3+ years of management experience in the security field or equivalent military experience.
• 21+ years of age
• Proven history of working well in stressful situations
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures. 
• Military, Police, and first responder experience is a plus. *

Licensing

• Armed Guard License from the State of Tennessee

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Long periods of standing or sitting may be required for this position.Long periods outdoors may be required during periods of inclement weather. i.e., rain, snow, hot or cold weather, etc.The candidate may be required to pass a physical examination by a licensed physician.Work Schedule may require 12 hours or more on shift.
