The Java Developer Cybersecurity will support FirstNet and Business. You will:

• Collaborate and review software requirements/user stories with engineers/architects/product owners to provide estimates, create software design specifications and develop robust applications.

• Follow SAFE AGILE development methodology to deliver software application using Java and Spring frameworks /Spring Boot.

• Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements, validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting.

• In addition to Unit Test, responsibilities may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing.

• Support applications and solves configuration and environment issues.

• Support the software deployment process

• Learn new software tools and skills as needed and provide recommendations for improving the application

• Follow the established standards, patterns, and processes

• Participate in team planning activities using Agile

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience.

• Must be well versed with REST API programming, testing, and troubleshooting

• Experience in application security and scan tool is a plus.

• Hands on experience in Java, Spring framework/Spring Boot or Struts MVC and Oracle required

• Hands on experience in JPA, SQL, LDAP, MicroServices (Spring boot) , Kubernetes, REST API Programming, GIT, MAVEN, IDE is required.

• GUI development skill using Angular/Angular JS, Java Script, HTML/Boot strap is a big plus.

• Experience in PERL and Shell scripting, MS Azure knowledge and exposure, Cassandra, Linux, APM tools is a plus.

• Typically requires 3-8 years’ experience.

• Must be self-starter and work with minimal supervision

• An individual contributor with strong analytical and reasoning skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills
