Skills Required:

Requires 6+ Years of IT experience.
Experience working as Big data testing lead or tester having end to end experience working with agile based implementations.
Automation / Scripting testing experience with Spark/ Scala development.
Experience with Test Automation and worked on Junit for writing test cases for Scala based development.
Strong knowledge on writing complex SQLs needed for conducting testing across systems.
Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
Attend project meetings to report on the status of testing, communicate issues.
Experience managing Test Strategy, Test plan, Test cases and defect tracker.
Ability to track outstanding issues related to documentation and Testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in interacting with development teams, end-user teams, senior management, other third parties, and stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Analyze, define, and translate business and functional specifications into testing requirements
Create Test Strategy, Test plan, Test cases and traceability documents
Execute test cases by preparing dataset, creating required scripts and capture reportable results
Create and execute Junit based automated scripts as per the testing requirements
Interactions with different stakeholders that includes management, architects, and development team
Manage Jira tasks, Confluence pages and provide in depth reporting of the testing components
