Martins Bay Holiday Park is one of Auckland stunning holiday destinations. The park is set on sandy beach, offering swimming, beautiful views, brilliant fishing with Kawau Island and the Hauraki Gulf. We’re located on the beautiful Matakana coast, about an 1hr drive north of central Auckland, 1.5 hours from Auckland Airport. We are seeking enthusiastic, and customer focussed person to join our team on a casual, on-call basis as a Holiday Park Assistant to work over our busy periods during the summer holidays. This role you will support the team with the operation of the park, including welcoming guests, processing online and in-person bookings, supporting with email, phone queries, and a variety of other tasks. You be welcoming and ensure our guests’ have a positive and memorable experience with us.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will be confident with admin and reception duties and have experience with cash handling as well as an ability to use your initiative to resolve both operational and maintenance issues as they arise.

These roles will have grounds maintenance tasks such grass mowing, strimming, cleaning BBQs, helping with tents, caravans etc, emptying bins, cleaning our facilities so having a good level of fitness and agility is a must. You’ll be a naturally friendly person and able to quickly develop empathy with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience.

The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, we are especially busy throughout summer months so having the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekend days and additional shifts as required is an advantage.

This position is deemed a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Auckland Council is committed to the protection and wellbeing of children.
