Auckland Council’s Solid Waste unit manages the region’s commercial refuse, kerbside domestic refuse, recycling, hazardous and inorganic waste. We are also responsible for the management of transfer stations, the development and delivery of waste minimisation, and cleaner production initiatives.
And being an essential service provider â we are always operating!
We have a Permanent Full-Time opportunity for a Waste Recycler & Operator to join our Henderson team based at the Waitakere Refuse Transfer Station. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team delivering essential services to TÄmaki Makaurau and our environment!
Day-to-day you could expect to work on:
PLEASE NOTE: We are open 8am-6pm, Monday to Sunday. You will be working 5 days per week, one of them must be a weekend day, as per agreement with your team leader. You will have the same shifts on a regular basis.
