As a Fitness Instructor for Albany Stadium Pool, you’ll be helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals and delivering fitness programmes for all ages and abilities across our diverse community. With our Leisure Centres more popular and busier than ever, our fitness teams play a vital part in ensuring that visitors are kept motivated, interested and eager to return again.
He kōrero mōu: About you
It goes without saying that you’ll be passionate about fitness, health, and wellbeing! With training provided, we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive people who thrive on client contact and have a proven ability to communicate effectively to provide a high level of client satisfaction through the programmes you deliver.
Joining a proactive and dynamic team, you’ll be a keen team player with a flexible approach. You’ll be comfortable to ask questions and build your knowledge to be able to use your initiative to provide innovative and appropriate fitness solutions. With impeccable time management skills, you’ll be confident with administrative tasks and processes.
A recognised fitness related qualification is required and knowledge of fitness training including fitness testing and monitoring of clients is advantageous, also holding a current REP’s Certificate, Exercise Consultant Level 2 and First Aid Certificate level 2.
Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer
We have a permanent part-time position working 17 hours a week, rostered across Monday to Sunday, both early morning and evening shifts, with the 17 hours per week being Monday and Wednesday 6am to 1pm and Sat 7:30am to 12pm.
