Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist, ideally with some experience in Paediatric Radiology who is highly motivated to join our team in Starship Radiology.
The role involves the management and leadership of a small team of MITs. You will be responsible for the performance of your team, monitoring workflow and throughput, and undertaking quality activities that support the provision of a high-quality imaging service. You will be expected to manage, motivate and develop initiatives and put effective and efficient processes into place.
The role also has site responsibility of the Starship Radiology Department as such you will be required to work closely with other Radiology Team Leaders and services external to Radiology.

You must have proven leadership skills, experience managing a team, a warm professional manner, be proactive and have excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and staff management skills are essential.
This role will provide the opportunity to grow your career in management and leadership and play an integral role in the leadership team within the wider Radiology service.
