We are looking for a motivated and proactive Talent Coordinator to join our growing People & Culture team. In this role, you will support all aspects of our recruitment function, manage candidate onboarding, and provide general P&C administration assistance. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience as a recruitment or HR administrator and to be involved in some current and upcoming exciting projects. This role requires flexibility to travel across our various offices and depots within Auckland as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the complete recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
• Manage candidate communications, preparing employee agreements, variation letters and internal enquiries
• Support onboarding processes for new hires, including management of AOR’s Visa processing for successful applicants
• Maintain and update recruitment/HR databases and documents ensuring compliance with best practices
• Manage pre-employment checks as part of the hiring process, including conducting reference checks.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify talent needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies alongside our hiring managers

About You:

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and an eagerness to learn. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships at all levels within our organisation. Your deep experience in volume recruitment and HR administration will play a pivotal role in our joint success. The successful candidate will have recent recruitment experience, thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment with the ability to follow policy and process but also be flexible and adaptable to change. Experience in a similar unionised, industrial work environment will be an advantage along with knowledge of Collective Employment Agreements in a heavily regulated setting.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Human Resources (or similar) is desirable
• 1-3 years of recent experience in volume recruitment or HR-related roles
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and employment law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using an ATS/HRIS
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities by multi-tasking efficiently and working in a collaborative environment
