AUCKLAND THOROUGHBRED RACING Looking for Facility Maintenance Technician at Auckland CBD, Auckland Full Time

One of New Zealand’s oldest sporting establishments, Auckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR), is currently looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

You’ll be a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional team member with high quality of work and attention to detail. You will be performing routine maintenance for ATR across our Ellerslie and Pukekohe sites to ensure and sustain operating efficiency.

You’ll be an efficient self-starter, able to work with limited supervision and have an excellent trade background; you will be assisting maintenance staff in predominantly painting and building repair works, while having a level of versatility in your own skill base. You will have a solid foundation of general maintenance with a good knowledge of maintenance procedures.

The applicant must have:

• Knowledge of site safety
• A current drivers licence
•  Building skills 
• Own hand tools
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
