We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Support Consultant to join our integrated ICT department. You will be proactively helping to manage AUT’s ICT cybersecurity activities, systems and services to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover from cybersecurity events. The skills, experience and relationships you will build will have significant and widespread impacts on the ICT systems and services within AUT and on users’ perceptions of the delivery of services from ICT.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Sound knowledge and experience of best practice standards, cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, network security architecture concepts, intrusion detection and prevention system and tools
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and customers to achieve understanding and action.
• Technical knowledge and experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and configuration and operation of network-level services.
• Experience in programming with languages such as Python, PHP or Perl along with Windows PowerShell and Unix shell scripting experience.
• Implementation of open-source solutions and software.

Salary range: $96,000 – $115,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
